War of the worlds, one of the world’s most exepcted films this year sprang up last month in India and proved dissapointing for many but not me.The film has its technical aspects at the best.What a splendid work by ILM.Truly every second in the film has ILM’s hand in it.

Spielberg and cruise come together again and really creates an outstanding performance.I went to watch the film having heard all negative reviews and was telling to myself ’’Will spielberg let it down’’ and when I watched the movie the answer was ’’not at all’’

Probably people expecting a strong storyline may not reccomend this ,but I do and I found the film really gripping except for teh climax that let the film down.

Dakota fanning is excellent for her age.Another comfortable performance by Cruise.
Spielberg stands in every frame ,when the roads crack,phones,cars,electricity go down,when aliens come out,when cruise family flees,when 100s of bodies float in a river and the burning train,everywhere.Hatsoff.

The climax should’ve been better.the reason for aliens getting down is not that clear to everyone and happens all of a sudden.

Still Spielberg maintains the tempo and it is one of the most gripping films I’ve ever seen.Hatsoff to the visual effects that remains the backbone of the film.
