I started watching wrestling way back in the 1980’s when my aunt used to bring video tapes of Free style wrestling from UAE, along with the tapes of Tom & Jerry and another series called ’’That’s Incredible’’.

One face I still remember is of Jimmy Superfly Snooka. Then there was the Machoman Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, Cowboy Orton (Randy Orton’s dad) and the Ultimate warrior.

Then once the Star TV and Ten sports came to India, WWE was accessible always.
What has interested me in WWE? what still keeps me glued to WWE even now?
It’s the ACTING. All the WWE artists are very good performers. Even the Chairman Vince, his kids Shane and Steph, his wife Linda... they are all Super performers.
No other athlete might be practising as dedicated as a wrestler. The stamina they possess, their attitude, the pain they take, the laughs they give..... and of course the girls who show up once a while.... everyone does their part very well.

I can say that 99% of the plots are well laid, the artists take everyone through the story. But sometimes you know what is going to happen next. They keep the drama in that oo.

Presently one can watch wrestling in ten sports, star TV and star sports.
Ten sports show WWE, with its main events RAW and Smackdown one Mondays Tuesdays, telecasted at 5:00 PM and retelecast at 10:30 PM. Wednesday through Saturday the smaller clips can be viewed on one hour shows named as Afterburn, velocity, Heat, Bottomline etc.

Star TV and Star Sports telecast the program conducted by TNA ( Total Non-stop Action). The only thing that irritates is the Hindi commentaries they give. TNA is more fast, bloody and messy. It has s 6 sided ring rather than the normal 4 sided ring.

I’m missing Ludwig Borga, the Bushwhackers, Sting and Brock Lesner.

Coming to the bottomline statements:-

1. THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF SHOW BUSINESS.
2. TOTAL ENTERTAINMENT IS GUARENTEED.
