Well the ad makes a beautiful promise but fails to deliver. I had wide range of service providers to choose from I chose Hutch coz my brother had this connection and was happy with the service. It was
249 plan where I was offered 200 sms free every month, but it never happened till 5th of every month and had to nag the customer care for a couple of times. Its ok, the trouble started when I was on roaming, before leaving Bangalore I decided to contact the Hutch care for roaming details, after telling him specifically too I will be roaming the customer care just answered my questions and hung up, my query as any other user was - how much will I be charged for incoming and outgoing and what should be done for activating roaming facilities, I got my answer and happily hung up. The trouble started later when I was in roaming I never knew my sms would be charged - 3.50 Rs per sms, I never knew my phone settings have to be changed if I am in roaming to avail Hutch services, coz of this I was not able to make any out going calls, pathetic condition was I was not able to reach Hutch care, the worst part was my balance before leaving Bangalore was 230 Rs, after receiving 5 calls and sending 22 sms in 4 days, when I returned I checked my balance it was 33.99 Rs...... ( rs 100 being deducted in excess). Isn’t it the responsibility of the customer care to give all the relevant details if in case a customer goes roaming????? Frustrated I call up Hutch care - first person disconnects the line ... Second person - says the system is not updated please call up after 12 hours so anxious to increase my balance I call up after 12 hours - the reply - mam it takes 24 hours for updating please call back after 12 hours. Now I am waiting for the 12 hours to pass... Will update status after a couple of hours..
