Bad network quality, terrible customer service

If you thought AirTel was bad, you should try Vodafone.


          

Amongst

India’s mobile service providers, Vodafone ranks:
* Worst in customer service, with downright rude agents.

  Some customer agent calling himself Asif Sheikh, was so rude that he said, amongst other things "Cancel your Vodafone subscription; we will not refund you anything".

* Worst in call quality, with ALL calls dropping within 5-30 seconds

  I tried calling Vodafone’s helpdesk 27 times. At EVERY instance, the call dropped between 3-30 seconds. Sometimes it would drop soon after connecting, sometimes it would drop after it took me through several menus.
  I tried calling my personal numbers, and the performance was better. The calls dropped 15-20 seconds after I began speaking to the other party.

* Worst in systems, with documents not handled properly, SIMs disabled despite Vodafone’s internal issues

  They took my documentation, then cancelled my outgoing calls saying that my documents weren’t received.
  I had my prepaid converted to postpaid, and got calls from Vodafone asking me at which store did I submit my papers. I had to resubmit all my documents.
  Then they sent me an SMS saying  my documents were received... then disabled my SIM card completely.

* Internal theft - refuse to refund outstanding amounts even though I wanted to close my connection with them because of all these issues.

  They lost my documents, disabled my outgoing calls, disabled my SIM, then refused to refund my money.


          

Their per-paid services are riddled with mismanagement. You can get a 1000 rupee top up, but they’ll cut you off after 30 rupees, saying that your documents are not in order.
Their systems are God-awfully bad, with their customer service not aware of what’s happening with their agents and stores, and vice versa.


          

They’ve spent a fortune in advertising, while delivering NOTHING in quality. Their customer agents have the gall to say "Happy to help". Sheesh!

Risk associating with India’s WORST corporation at your own peril.
