Vodafone ! Sirf naam hi kaafi hai ! to spoil your day and night and whatever remains unspoilt if it does remain. I had a wonderful problem which these guys could not resolve and kept giving me tareek pe tareek, tareek pe tareek, tareek pe tareek ! I had a prepaid connection which was working manageably ok. So to keep the number and lessen the cost, I switched to a postpaid connection on the same number. The first impression was the worst impression when the smiling villian from verification dept came with a table top alarm clock and a Om Shanti Om VCD saying ’welcome to Vodafone postpaid’. The first thing I noticed is that the CD was cracked to which he said that it can be changed at any Vodafone shop. The next problem came up when I dialed 111 customer care. There is an option ’dial 9’ to speak to a customer care joker. Whenever I dialed ’9’ the cyclic process of throwing me back to the main menu kept going on and on. Ultimately sick of this, I called up custoemer care from another number and lodged a complaint. But all I got is a variety of complaint numbers consisting of nothing but digits. Now I have decided to approach the consumer forum and provide loving CARE FROM THE CUSTOMER to Hutch/Vodafone. My unfortunate vodafone number is 9899991526.
