Sorry folks today again I am writing on one more restaurant called “Vindhyas” (the cuisine from peninsular India) which is at Orchid Hotel Vile Parle (E)

The Orchid Hotel have few more different restaurants like Boulevard (The Coffee shop), Mostly grills (Barbecue Restaurant), and Merlin’s (The Bar)

Vindhyas gives an opportunity for you to enliven your senses at one place with the nine different states of India. You will find a menu full with generation old traditional recipes.

The Food is prepared from nine different states it’s good for people who are far from home because the food tastes exactly homemade.

I liked this place because it is so different from other places and food. The food is excellent with lots of varieties. The spices and certain key ingredients are sourced directly from original locations to replicate the original taste. They serve almost 10 to 12 different varieties of pickles.

Well they encourage eating food with hands to follow the tradition so they get a big silver plated bowl and your hands are washed with rose water.

The ambience is very cozy and quietly distinctive it reflects a palatial south Indian estate house.

The service is excellent. You can see the waiters dressed in traditional clothes to keep up the tradition. They play all nine states music with live performance.

They have tried best to make feel and experience the tradition. Everything goes on so well the food, ambience and the waiters as well to give the ethnic look.

The food is slighter on expensive side but worth every penny. It’s a different experience itself give it a try and I am sure you will love it.
