I would like to bring to your attention my personal experience with "Vijay Sales" branch at Ghatkopar (W). With so many advertisements,

I had visited the shop to get product "worth its price" but to my surprise I was shocked.

          

 I had gone there to buy NI-MH battery recharger. They offered me Sanyo recharger for Rs 800/-  (including 4 batteries) informing me that it is without warranty. I bought it since Vijay sales has a big chain of shops in India. As per the instruction I charged the batteries for 16 hours, but while using it for digital camera it was giving the signal that the batteries were not charged. I rushed to "Vijay sales"  (Ghatkopar Branch) with the defective product were they informed me that they had brought to our notice that the product is "without warranty".

          

 After receiving the reply I lost my patience I asked them "Will you buy this scrap ? which doesnt work even for a day ". They finally agreed to replace with the same product. To my utter surprise the replaced Sanyo product was again a "scrap". I again rushed to the shop.

          

 There, I was greeted by Mr Sampat, their sales executive who in polite manner again informed that the product was replaced eventhough it was without warranty. I told him, you had again replaced with the "SCRAP" product, please refund my money.

          

 Mr Sampat argued that product was without warranty so refund will not be given even if the product doesn’t work for a day. I was shocked what kind of treatment they are meting out to the customer. I told them I will approach media, write to newspaper about Vijay sales selling scrap products to customer and even pull your Head (Managing director/Patner) to the consumer court.

          

 

          

                    Mr Sampat replied back you can willingly pull Head of Vijay Sales to court. After this reply I had no words to speak, today in the competitive world this kind of reply from sales executive to the customer. Finally other Senior executive intervened and gave us the refund. The second surprise was that I found Indian made recharger without batteries for Rs 150/- only with 6 months warranty.

          

 Clearly it shows that Vijay sales is least bothered what they are selling to the customer. I would request you all to be careful while buying product at “Vijay Sales”

                    1.REQUEST ALL OF YOU ATLEAST DONT BUY PRODUCTS FROM VIJAY SALES THAT ARE WITHOUt WARRANTY. WITHOUT WARRANTY AT VIJAY SALES IMPLIES THAT THE PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK EVEN FOR A DAY.
          

          

                    2. Please compare the prices with your Local vendors before entering  Big shops having chain
