My kids were in Vidyashilp from their early elementary years to middle school. We moved back home to San Diego and found that they were far, far ahead of their peers in junior school here in the city. Their teachers were so intrigued, they looked up Vidyashilp on the internet.!:-) Vidyashilp is rated outstanding for a reason! It has friendly staff, and a real sense of community spirit. This combined with fantastic results it achieves annually, it's a popular choice for Bangalore parents. The school has a lot of pride in its Indian roots and I truly appreciate that. My wife is Indian and I'm American, but gosh the true spirit of the Indian culture is celebrated so often in all its colours; I can't say that I've seen any other school like this. Most international schools in Bangalore shy away from Indian heritage(I can't fathom why), but not Vidyashilp! It's truly an inclusive school that celebrates all cultures, races, ethnic backgrounds, it's inspiring. Children's innocence and excitement about learning of everyone's cultural background is just.heart warming and so refreshing in a world that seeks divide. Anyway - the real amazing thing about the school is the staff. The staff are 100% dedicated and professional. Faculty and the administrators alike. Apparently, this school has the lowest teacher attrition rate in the city! That's a darn good impressive feat.
