Vidyamandir Classes or VMC is simply best thing that happened in my life.
Objectivity towards life, correct meaning of self study, handling ups and downs, and bringing out the best in me were among the ideas I owe to VMC. It made me a better person to say the least.
VMC still reminds me constantly of who I could be at my best and at my down moments. I was not a genius – but I practiced and became better. What the best thing VMC has taught me is that throw myself, heart and soul, at something – and I would come off OK(and sometimes more than OK).
No words can describe the experience but still I would give it try-
Best part at VMC(no doubt) is the teachers and their lectures(3-4 hrs of pure bliss)
Note:- at VMC we call our teachers Bhaiya(Hindi word used for elder brother). It makes feel good family like environment at VMC.:)
THE TEACHERS
- Bade Bhaiya
He came in the class, got aside by white board and took three deep breadth facing the wall. There was pin drop silence and all I could feel was exhilarating adrenaline rush from what to expect next. Will it be another classic dialogue from the great or hilarious laugh that we would share at the society norms/ our idiotic human nature or will it be another masterpiece organic concept taking our breadth away!
"THE WORLD IS RUTHLESS OUT THERE" he began.The single line that made an indelible impression in my mind.
" Be what you are" he continues "and IIT is nothing and its preparation is nothing in front of facing world out there which is so ruthless. So make yourself ready to face that. IIT to aise hi ho jaayega."
One could easily wonder in his class, is this a chemistry class or philosophy class! He used to motivate a lot, a LOT with such energy.
Few of his awesome comments, "IIT koi swarg nahi hai jahan kalp taru hoga, gana bajana chal raha hoga, aapsaraien naach rahi hongi. Woh nark hai jahan sab bade bade rakshas aapka intazaar kar rhe hain" "Khali dimaag shaitan ka dimaag" While teaching stoichiometry Bhaiya once said, "Aaj main formulon ki barsat karoonga, aur tum usme bheeg jaana!" "Jab tak atoms, molecules, aur ions se dosti nahi karoge chemistry samajh nahi ayegi…apne aap ko solution mein dubao, phir dekho kee ions kaise bhag rahe hei.permanganate ion ko roko aur poocho – “ae permanganate ion tu kahan bhag raha hei and kyon bhag raha hai?" "NCERT tumhere liye GITA ke samaan hai.(after a pause) par tum usee GITA par haath rakhkar kasam khaatee ho ke tum NCERT ko haath nahin lagaogee"
He inspires you to actually study for yourself. He gives nothing more, nothing less than what you demands. He might hurt the sentiments of few parents along the way, but he is the most heavenly person ever(and also biggest movie buff).
- Chote Bhaiya
Mr. Calm. Hair flat, shirt tucked, he exudes calmness. He is simply pursuit of passion. The way he eats, the way he walks, the way he teaches. Never will you see a person doing each job with such involvement. Of all the persons I have met he is the one living life in true sense. Life seems so much simple when he is around. I never had opportunity to study under him but my friend who did tells me following:- "Someone who is TRULY great. One who used to tell us how everything is so easy, and then show us, he wasn't joking. An ideal genius, I would call him in his field. Frankly I could hardly keep up to his teaching; it seemed all so easy, and me understanding everything in those 3 hr classes. However, studying the same and trying to recollect at home was another story. How he finished Electromagnetism in just one class, and similar stories are just marvelous. People won’t believe, but I counted; we just had 19 classes of IIT-JEE Physics over 2 years."
- Munna Bhaiya
He is the humblest person you can ever met with passion flowing in his veins. An inspiration to work continuously without getting tired. Mr. cool; his spirits were just amazing. I have never heard him raising his voice, not once. Words like stress and depressing seems unknown to him. As a contrast to Bade Bhaiya, he would answer to your any query, relevant or not. I will always remember his ever-smiling face throughout the class. It was a treat to be taught by him.
- Sandeep Bhaiya
He is Santa Clause at VMC. Showering the happiness over students, his ordinary day at VMC is no less busy than Santa on Christmas eve. I always thought if I could do 10% of the work he does, I would be really well off.
- Ankur Bhiaya
Well he is combination of all four of the above. He is calm at the same time full of passion. He class was hilarious blended with calmness. He is an artist and he used to paint the white board with a pure beauty. He is like one of the Buddhist monk who knows answer to every question of life and is ready to help you seek the answer.
He once said in the mail(I was not the recipient but can't help myself to read it:) " Equations of life are stochastic in nature and hence we should not try to fit a deterministic answer to it. Hence, don't worry, whatever you will chose will work out best for you. "
