Bought it in april'16 this year from iNext Electronics.
Was very impressed with the price tag of 27999 rs.
They never provided any stabilizers, I had to purchase it from outside which costs additional 2900, but thats s good thing to have stabilizers to your ac.
Very poor after sale service, they never sent any one from Vediocon to install the product, or even to give usage, demo.
AC was running okay but now after a year it appears to need service and cleaning as it does not has auto clean feature.
I even noticed water rinsing sometimes that might be due to humid weather condition in Northern India but that should come out of outlet pipes.
Takes almost 15 - 20 min to cool a 10x12 room in turbo mode, I would rate this as poor as my other AC with same tonnage of 1.5 ton cools 12x15 room in almost the same time and is almost 4.5 years old.
Slow cooling means excessive waste of electricity and monetary burden.
Lookwise it looks cheap and appears as if made up of recycled or degraded material.
Its too noisy inside room and makes it almost uncomfortable sometimes.
Outer unit is too big and heavy and appears to be made up of copper.
I would say price tag in AC matters least, as energy rating energy consumption means a lot for big appliances.
Any big appliance like AC or fridge should have atleast 5 - 6 years of life even more if we are going to good brands.
Videocon is an Indian brand, but I am sorry to say it has to go long before getting into league of O'General, Diakin & HItachi.
