I purchased AC 5-Star Videocon 14 months back. Serice is free for 1 year. The real problems starts on completion of one year warranty. Water is leaking and it was rectified(may be temporarily) by service personnel and charged Rs.450/- After one month it started leaking again. I con't afford to pay Rs.450/- every month for this chronic problem. The company should come to the rescue of the customers by giving proper service.
The advertised 5 year warranty is for compressor only. The public sees 5 Year warranty and go for it. When the AC starts giving problems they start realizing.
