Pros:
It was cheap. Easy to find
Cons:
Strong scent, broke me out in an itchy acne, too heavy, etc.

Why I purchased this?
I was on the Accutane treatment for about 6 months and it helped my skin a lot. I bought this from a recommendation of a friend of mine when I was in school. It was relatively
cheap, but frankly I wasn’t impressed by the packaging. For one, it looked crumpled like someone decided to squeeze out a sizeable portion and still make a profit. It could have been crumpled during shipping and handling, but I don’t know.

How did I use it?
I tried to use it twice a day, but the scent was too strong. I discovered right then and there that I am not a fan of the sandalwood scent. So I tried to make the best of it, so I used it at night. I would use a gentle cleanser, and I would apply this Turmeric cream at night. I did this for about two to three months.

My results?
While using this product, my skin broke out something fierce. I started to get cystic acne where I never gotten cystic acne (the absolute worst kind you can get) before. In addition to the acne, my face itched like I used poison ivy to wash my face. At first I thought this was the purification process, so I kept using this product (acne takes about 6 to 8 weeks to form, so says my dermie). What I fool I was.   Eventually I stopped using it on my face. Since I have a hard time throwing away products, I used the rest on my legs since I have some old scars. I used this stuff faithfully and I did not notice any evening of the skin tone of my legs nor brightening or whatever this product claims to do. I was sorely disappointed by this product.

I guess what should have clued me in was that this product didn’t list all of their ingredients. I guess they can get away with that due to proprietary secrets or something along the lines. In the meanwhile it took a long time for my skin to regain normalcy.   I found the texture of this cream to be too greasy and heavy for my skin. It felt like my skin couldn’t breathe. I guess some agent in it caused my face to break out. Either that or I am allergic to sandalwood or the turmeric. I honestly cannot recommend this to friends. Maybe to enemies, but not friends *lol*.
