This is a Super Cop story which in the Director’s words , “ is another episode in a Policer officer’s life” .

I would call it an Elite Cop story . Kamal plays the role of 

The movie establishes the relationship between two Police Officers . The budding of Friendship between a Superior and a subordinate begins by the calling of Raghavan from City to a small town Tiruelveli by ArokiyaRaj (Prakash Raj) . Thereafter , we see the consequences of how Raghavan’s  life is nullified by the death of his wife(kamilni) . His career takes a toll on his personal life . The friendship grows by their retaliation  on the rogues .

After many long years when ArokiaRaj’s daughter is missing , he calls for Raghavan from Mumbai . And then , it begins . We see the intelligence and composure of a forty year old Police Officer and rage of a newcomer . The following events make Raghavan travel to Newyork . Every frame is beautiful , in this place .

He meets Aradhana (Jothika). He rescues her from a suicide attempt , by his instinct . And then is a very mature love segment between the two . The song “Vennilave” begins because Aradhana has two reasons to celebrate . It is  beautiful  choreography , something that would have happened in  anyone of our lives . A song for Dialogues , responses , conversation and reminiscences .

The rest of the movie is about two psychopaths ,medical doctors as killers and how Raghavan and Anderson traces them . Atlast , Raghavan wins .

It is an excellent expression in kamal’s face when Anderson dies in the process . Pride of a Cop , mellow and shock of a layman , all in a moment  . This is not a step by step narration but the elements which made to watch it again .
