I used to stay in Pune for 2 years, and had the oppotunity to have food at Vaishali many times. I have to mention one dish in particular --- which is the Upma available here early in the mornings. I swear, this is far better than any hotel in south india. The chutney too is delicious. Infact there is something about the ambiance and the upma in the mornings at vaishali. Lots of people who have finished their morning exersice / sports activities come to vaishali tohave breakfast. I used to love reading the complete sunday times and having a plate of upma & nice south style coffee here. I’ll never forget this experience in this lifetime. Infact whenever I visit pune, I make it a point to visit Vaishali in the mornings to have that amazing plate of delicious upma. Besides Upma the other dishes are very good as well. Their range of sandwiches is lip smacking.
