Hi!Everyone.My topic of today`s review is something different.This review of mine,is on Uses of Minerals and Vitamin.
Here is my opinion on this topic!This review

What foods do for you?4.
The main vitamins and minerals you need.*:::WHY WE NEED FOOD???:::1.
For growth and repair:Your body grows by forming new cells.You also need new cells to replace dead ones.Cells are built from substances in food.

For energy:You need energy to work your muscles,and all other organs.The energy in food is measured in
calories or in kilojoules.
3.
To stay healthy:You need
vitamins and
minerals in food.Gums are destroyed if you don`t get
vitamin C.
*:::What`s in food?:Food contains a mixture of substances.The main ones are
proteins,carbohydrates,fats,oils,vitamins,minerals,fibre, and
water.
*:::What foods do for you?:::Carbohydrates give energy.Sugar and starch are two types of carbohydrate.
Dietary fibre cannot be digested,but it prevents constipation.
Proteins are body-building foods,which are needed for growth and repair.
Fats and oils give twice as much energy as other foods,which are stored for warmth and future use.

Oranges,lemons,grapefruit,green vegetables and
potatoes.
Why you need Vitamin C?For healthy skin and gums and to heal wounds quickly.
Shortage can causeScurvy:Gums and nose bleed.
2.Vitamin D:is found in Milk,butter,eggs,fish and
liver.
Why you need Vitamin D?For strong teeth and bones.
Shortage can causeRickets:The bones become soft and they bend.
3.Calcium:is found in
Milk and
eggs.
Why you need it?For strong bones and teeth!
Shortage can causeRICKETS.4.Iron:is found in
Liver and
Spinach.
Why do you need it?For making
red blood cells.
Shortage can cause:Anaemia:The person is pale and has no energy!
