We had taken a UII Andhra bank Arogyadaan scheme and we not longer feel like paying the premium because its absolutely useless paying our savings to them when you actually don't get any claims. The customer service is really bad. They speak in such a rash tone to customers. My father had to undergo an eye treatment and as part of the treatment he was supposed to take avast in injection which they say is not covered. In their policy clauses it is not mentioned anywhere that it is not covered. The injection cost is about 8000 rs and it does not even come under any vaccination.
It is purely a treatment and the staff says that it is not covered. Now that itself is a huge expenditure and if given twice as part of the retinal treatment. We had been customers since last 8 to 10 yrs and paying premiums and when the need arises they say that this is not covered as part of the policy. But I dont find it in written anywhere. There are such heavy sub limits and copay on everything that you will have to bear 50% of the medical costs. For this joy why would anyone want to take an insurance.
These people simply say its part of the policy and escape payments to customer. Better not take this policy when you ultimately dont get any claim or only 50% at the end of the day..
