My company has provided health insurance policy from untied india assurance, I was hospitalized in mumbai and as United India assurance don't have collaboration with any hospital in mumbai(or may be in the corporate plan they haven't included any hospital of mumbai) so I applied for mediclaim cash back(the amount is quite less.), the agent said they will process the request and if any document is missing they will call back. after 15 days they emailed and said 5 docs are missing outof which 3 docs were already submitted. so I called back them asked them to check if really the docs are missing. they simply said Sorry we have the three docs and now only two docs are missing.
I went mumbai and reaching hospital I again called them to verify that I have collected correct docs from the hospital. the representative said that the concerned person is not available and asked me to call back on monday(i.e. after 2 days).
I called the guys on monday and said tht I have the docs with me and will submit it the same day. they said the first document(which they earlier said has been provided) is incomplete.
now I will agian be going to mumbai to collect the same becoz when I asked them to contact the hospital they said the hospitals don't cooperate.
I have decided to withdraw my claim for cash back and will never advice any1 to take united india mediclaim policy.
