I have opened savings account with union bank of india & I want to share my one of bad experience of it.
I have opened a savings account two months ago with this bank.But since I opened I have experienced many difficulties & flaws which I got I want to discuss .Also I will state good features which I personally liked.
Union bank of india is a Indian public sector bank in which to open a general saving account you need rs 500 for non cheque book account & rs 1000 for account with cheque book.
Net banking is very secure two three layers of security are there in netbanking .Customer care services are fine .Atms are also fine & are readily available .But I have bad experience with them
that when they opened my account they chareged rs 342 compulsary in name of PMJDY & in name of bima also without my recommendations & otherwise they refused to open my account. Aso there charges will be levied every year
Also they have freezed my account by the next month when I opened & when I call customers care they say visit branch .When I visit branch they wont give solutions .
Also they charge penalty on non maintenance charges of account in freeze state.Also they dont activate it not tell solution.
Also there is very much long queues in deposits of money in the account
Also there cash deposit machines , cheque deposits machines does not work many times
6 Also like other psu banks they work slow
Overall I wont recommend this bank for opening savings account as I have bad experience with them .
So from my side I want to give 1 star only for my bad experience but for netbanking & overall usage experience I will give overall 3 stars only.
