Even though this movie has been a remake of english movie "The Notebook", the plot is still amazing and it moves you, touches you deep within the heart. This is one of the best remakes of an english movie I have seen so far. The direction has been simply wonderful. Only negative comment is about the soundtrack.... it is just too....well... lame, for the lack of better word.

The movie captures the feel of living with someone who is sick, loving someone who does not recognize you, the heartaches, and the hopes. Scence with the kid in bathroom, has the drama and thrill of a superb thriller. This movie is best enjoyed watching with your spouse or a loved one, and at the end of the movie, you end up reflecting on your own life. You realize the blessings you have in your life and cherish that loved one more after you watch this movie.

Even though this movie is great, I would not be able to watch it more than once. It is a very strong movie.
