I WILL NEVER FLY US AIRWAYS AGAIN! 1 STAR RATING BECAUSE I HAD TO RATE THEM. I UNDERSTAND FLIGHTS MAY BE DELAYED DUE TO WEATHER OR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS..BUT TO NOT HAVE A BACKUP PLAN FOR PATRONS THAT MISSED
A FLIGHT DUE TO AN AIRLINE DELAY IS RIDICULOUS. WHO OFFERS SOMEONE A DISCOUNT HOTEL TICKET WHEN THEY ARE STRANDED FOR 15 HOURS WHEN THEY MISSED A FLIGHT DUE TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. US AIRWAYS DOES! WHOSE TICKET COUNTER HAS STAFF THAT ARE EXTREMELY RUDE, TELLS YOU THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN WORST SITUATIONS THAN YOU ARE, AND FEEL THAT THEIR ONLY JOB IS TO RE-BOOK YOU ON ANOTHER FLIGHT? US AIRWAYS! WHAT COMPANY WHEN TOLD BY THEIR PATRONS THAT THEY WOULD NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN PROCEEDS TO TELL THEM THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT? US AIRWAYS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE KEY TO THE SUCCESS OF A BUSINESS. US AIRWAYS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE ACCOMODATING IN THIS SITUATION RE-BOOKING FOR A FLIGHT 15 HOURS AWAY IS NOT TAKING CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE FLOWN WITH OTHER AIRLINES THAT PUT YOU UP IN A HOTEL WITH JUST AN EIGHT HOUR DELAY. NO SHUTTLE SERVICE WAS OFFERED TO THE DISCOUNT HOTEL WE WERE OFFERED. JUST A COUPON AND A NEXT PLEASE. WHILE STANDING AT THE COUNTER ANOTHER PATRON NODS HER HEAD AND SAYS "YOUR ON YOUR OWN, THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME LAST MONTH" WOW, HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS. THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH US AIRWAYS, YOU MIGHT BE SITTING IN THE AIRPORT FOR 15 HOURS WAITING FOR YOUR NEXT FLIGHT OR FORKING OVER THE MONEY FOR A HOTEL FOR THE NIGHT!
