I was traveling from New York to Columbus OH thru Charlotte. In New York I paid $25 extra and moved to an earlier flight to CHarlotte. In charlotte I found that there was an earlier flight to Columbus.

That flight was about to leave in 10 mins when I approached the terminal and asked them if I could take that flight. They asked me pay $ 25 more for that.

I did not wannted to pay $25 again. They did not allow to take that flight even though there was a seat available.

I had a US airways ticket for the next flight. So I was a US Airways customer. Even then they did not allow me to take the flight and decided to leave with an empty seat.
