I am a total bollywood music freak and love listening to all kinds of songs but have a special liking for 90’s songs as it reminds me of my childhood days. I will categorize them into 2 lists to

make my task simpler!!!!!!!
Golden Oldies 

1. Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Me   - Kabhi Kabhi
I remember this song being played one fine morning on FM in my office bus and i then realised how superior this song was. This song just made my day. I love the prelude especially. Mukesh won a filmfare award for this song.

2. Ek Haseena Thi    -    Karz
This song has the best guitar piece i have ever heard. Laxmikant-Pyaarelal have done an incredible job with the musical arrangement. This song is unique as all the three stanzas have different tunes. Even Dard-e-Dil had 3 stanzas with totaly different tunes. They deservedly won a filmfare award for Karz.

3. Tujhse Naaraz Nahin Zindagi    - Masoom
What a song!!!!!!!!!! What a movie....one of my all time favourite movies....I earlier thought Kishore was the male playback singer but got to know later tht it was Anoop Goshal. I prefer the male version though Lata was brilliant as usual in the female version.

4. Chookar Mere Man Ko  - Yaarana
Simple yet sooo beautiful..Rajesh Roshan’s best probably

5. Lag Jaa Gale  -Woh Kaun thi
Humko Mili hain aaj yeh ghadiyaan naseeb se
Jee Bhar ke  dekh leejiye Humko kareeb se...What romance!!!!!!!! Love the way it was used in FANAA..remember??

6.  Mere Naina Saawan Baadhon - Mehbooba
This song has an unusual haunting feel which i love the most. Again the male version was more popular.

7. Aapki Aankhon me kuch -  Ghar
Awesome Kishore-Lata duet....Love the line Aapki Khamoshiyaan hi aapki awaaz hain

8. Kya Hua tera Waada
How can I leave out Rafi Saheb...Just love the way he has sung this song with soo much emotion n feel.

9. Chaudvi ka Chaand Yaa Aaftaab Ho, Jo Bhi Ho Tum Khuda ki kasam Laajawaab ho......
Laajawaab gaana aur Rafi Saheb ka tho jawaab nahin

10. Chura Liya hain tumne - Yaadon ki Baarat
I would have forgotten Zeenat Aman by now but for this song:). .just love Asha Bhonsle’s mesmerizing rendition...In my opinion, this song has to be  Bollwood’s best evergreen song.

1. Pehla Nasha - JJWS
Jatin Lalit still rate this song as their best. Brilliant song.... You can forget all your worries by listening to this song. Sadhna Sargam hasn’t got the credit she deserves. She is brilliant in  "Aao Naa" n "Chupke se" too.  This song was choreographed by Farah Khan who did a marvelous job with her first attempt.

2. Tum Mile Dil Khile - Criminal
Hats off to the underrated MM Kreem for this awesome composition. Kumar Sanu has sung this song beautifully. I dunno why people criticise him for being nasal. So what if he is nasal as long as he sounds gud.

3.Mujhe raat Din - Sangharsh
This song would have been a super duper hit had it been picturised on Shahrukh or Aamir. I can bet on this :)...was picturised on Aman Verma of all the people....Jatin Lalit shd sue Tanuja Chandra, the director for this..:)

4. Sandese Aate Hain - Border
Love the line "E Guzarne Waali Hawa Bata"...This particular line takes this song to a totally different level...I remember Anu Malik saying in an interview that he had composed this song in a very short duration ...He said Javed Akhtar and JP Dutta had come to him with the lyrics and he composed the music for the first few lines then and there on his harmonium.

5. Ab Tere Bin - Aashiqui
Kumar Sanu won his first filmfare award for this song. He won 5 in a row which is a record...Not sure whether anybody has broken this.

6. Yeh Haseen Waadiyan - Roja
SP-Chitra-AR Rehman masterpiece. My fav AR composition.

7.Dil De Diya Hain - Masti
Unusual choice but love this song. Anand Raj Anand sang this beautifully n composition was great too. As this was a comedy movie this song might have gone unnoticed.

8.Nahin Saamne Tu - Taal
Hariharan’s best song. Love the way he sings Priyaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

BR>9. E Ajnabi - Dil Se
I dunno how Udit Narayan managed to sing this soo well. AR Rehman should be given credit to extract the best from Udit.  Mahalaxmi too creates an impression in her brief appearance.

10. Tere Bin - Bas Ek Pal
A debut composition and its hard to believe how a 21 year old can compose such a song. Mithoon is a talent to watch out guys. Anwar had some great music too.
