It's almost impossible to write a top 10 or a 20 for SPB, he sung so many songs in so many languages, i'll write my top 10 in tamil.
1.) Kalyana Malia-Puthum puthu arthagal
2.) Mandram Vantha- Mouga Raagam
3.) Nilvaa mugam Kaatu
4.) Mannil intha Kadhal
5.) Ilaya Nila- Payanangal mudivathillia
6.) Nilaave vaa- Mouga Raagam
7.) Thulli Thulli
8.) Malara Mounama
9.) Vaa Vennila
10.) En kaadhale
I know majority of my songs are from the 1980's, but I believe that was his prime, when he was with Illayaraja and sang so many beautiful melodies. It's so hard to pick SPB's top 10, cuz he sang so many good songs its so hard to keep track of each one, but top of my head these ones I just mentioned seem to have most impact. Hope you all of you get to get these songs and enjoy them.
