Unparallelled!. Review on Twenty Best Songs of Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh is one singer who cannot be paralleled with anyone ever except a genetic simile to his son Nitin Mukesh.Mukesh's voice stirs your soul when it vibrates in air.I wonder how some voices are beyond this earth, it looks they come from heaven.

Mukesh acted in a couple of movies before becoming full fledged playback singer.Surprisingly, he acted very well and naturally as his voice which was very natural and did not sound made up.Its a tragedy that in olden times, new singers would mimic their senior singers to impress music directors and audiences, but failed miserably in front of listeners.At last they had to come to their natural voices to woo their listeners.Mukesh would mimic KL Sehgal and Geeta Dutt would mimic Suraiya and Noorjehan.

17.Duniya bananewale .from TEESRI KASAM.This is one of my favorite song.

18.Sajan re jhoot mat bolo, khuda ke pas jana hai, na haathi hai na ghoda hai, wahan paidal hi jana hai.again from TEESRI KASAM.This is a great movie with great songs.

It is a strange fact that most of the songs of Mukesh are from Raj Kapoor's(Another great movie personality)movies.When Mukesh died, a very emotionally choked Raj Kapoor said'Meri awaaz chali gayi.'Mukesh's voice resembled Raj Kapoor's voice and mannerisms very much and was identified as Raj Kapoor's singing voice.

Almost all songs of Mukesh are a gem in itself and everyone is best and too good. One of the songs with which I will always remember Mukesh's golden voice is'Kehte the teri raah mein nazaron ko hum bicchayenge.tumko na bhool payenge.'.He had an unusual penchant for sad songs and sung them very well.

Mukesh Mathur is an unparalleled voice which will be remembered till eternity.
