I feel this review is:
Hi I am from Kerala; I love Hindi movies and songs. I usually listen to the new songs and the classics are listened very rarely. My father is a big fan of Lataji and he bought a big song collection of the melody Queen’s and I just loved many of them. It was indeed impossible to choose the best among the best.
Here is my top 20,
Satyam Shivam Sundaram(Satyam Shivam Sundaram) Superb song. Has this sense of devotion for lord Shiva. The best song sung by Lataji and by the composers Laxmikant Pyarelal.
Chalte Chalte(Pakeezah) Another haunting melody. Perfect instrumentation.
Tere bina zindagi mein(Aandhi) Beautiful song. Lataji sang better than Kishoreji.
Aaj phir jeene(Guide) Lovely song. It is bubbly and vibrant.
Na jaane kyun(Chhoti si baat) Great composition by salilda. The kind of song that you would like to listen to again and again.
Tu jahan jahan(Mera Saayan) It is a very haunting song. It has wonderful lyrics and composition.
Teri aankhon(Chiraag) Lovely song sung beautifully by lataji. I tried it but it was kind of tough and she sang quiet easily.
Rangeela re(Prem Pujari) Nice one. Has this feeling of the sixtees. The video was funny.
Kabhi Kabhi(kabhi kabhi) Wonderful song.
Akele hain(Raaz) haunting and suits the situation in the film.
Khilte hain gul yahan(Sharmili) Excellent song from this film.
Un koi shiqayat I used to listen to this song when I was about three years. My father used to listen to this before sleeping.I liked it.(I did not know that it was sung by lataji then)
Aaja re pardesi(Madhumati) sweet song.
Ja re Ja re ut jare panchi I liked a lot when I heard it first.
Chand phir nikhla stupendous one.
Ehsaan tera woh na kuch(Jungli)- I saw this song when I was very young and I loved it then and I became nostalgic when I heard it recently. Lataji has such sweet voice.
