Though I hate to admit this in public, my social life is usually about as exciting as Krishi Darshan. Living in a place like Delhi where public transport is either non-existent or unsafe, it is hard to go out at nights unless you have either your own transport or a fairly reliable person to ferry you around. Till recently I had neither.

Then, a dear friend of mine came back from a stint in Korea and my life changed (okay that’s pushing it a bit but then what is life without a little melodrama!) This friend has the advantage of:
a) being male
b) having a car
c) living close by, and most importantly
d) being known to my parents since he was 11 years old – which means they trust him implicitly and extend my curfew if I’m with him
