Not just Tum Bin Jaaon Kahan but take any serial running on any of our desi channels and you'll wonder what has happened to the creators and also to the viewers who have been writing rave reviews about them.
Every serial follows the same old path, showing either a saas having problems with bahu and vice-versa, characters having many-to-many relationships (Professors can use this while explaning ER diagams in the database class), a sati savitri naari ready to give up everything for the well being of others(read overacting growling in-laws, husbands etc...) and any thing which can make more tear jerking characters.
Out of all these shitty serials, Office-Office seems to be the only relief. I haven't seen any comedy serial for like 2 years now since office office is the only one on air here in the US but I think that nothing else will be as good as office office.
I just hope that some day some creative guys would be bold enough to try some comedy and kick out ekta kapoor and company. Anyone for a desi version of Seinfeld...
Or may be retelecast Yeh jo hai zindagi, byomkesh bakshi, karamchand, fauji....
