Recently, as a group we had gone to Tulip Resorts - to have lunch and spend the evening.
The place seems to be a favorite setup with Schools - every now and then, school picnics get arranged here. There is a big set of rides for kids.(the kind that you see in the melas). It also has a "Columbus" replica - the swinging boat. I would have to say though the setup appears rickety, the ride was real good.
The Giant Wheel was down for maintenance.
Food - getting service is a bit difficult because staff is minimal and seems to be involved with multiple events. But when we ran out of our items, they were graceful in unlimited refills. I have not seen this happen in most other places.
The resort has enough ground space to walk around. The facilities for outdoor games are also good.
There is an abundance of restrooms all around the resort(and some of them can do with more upkeep)
All in all, value for money. As long as you know what to expect, you are fine by it.
We had a good time.
(and yes - we did not use their rooms. So I am not rating the same)
