We were 4 college friends wanted to go for a outing with family. Our first choice was club Cabana, but after reading reviews felt like not value for money. So called Confident cascade and they said they are Full. Now we called Tulip and tulip said we can come and book the ticket there. I browse through there web site and it looked like decent one with some amusement rides for kids. We reached at resort at around 11 AM. and the first impression after looking into amusement park is it's crap. NO maintenance nothing. Our better halves were not at all happy after having a glance.
We went to see the swimming pool. Oh it's one of the worst pool i've ever seen. Water looks pretty dirty. However the pool for kids was looking in a better shape. There was a maintenance guy cleaning pool, I asked him how long it'll take him to clean and he said all done. When asked about the dirty water, he said he filtered all dusts, leaves etc and nothing much can be done. I talked to the manager, manager said he will ask him to clean again, however I was not hopeful at all.
Now we moved to the TT room. TT racket and balls are the cheapest one and it was very unpleasant to play a game of TT there. I did not try POOL table, so not much to comment. Then went outside and tried our hand at Volley Ball, this is the only game we enjoyed there as the ball was decent one and we had a good time for 1 hour playing volley ball. Now we moved to Swimming pool. I was reluctant to go inside the pool, look at other pool whose depth was hardly 2 feet , so water looked much cleaner and warmer than the other pool. I just sat inside that pool.
Then we went for food. We thought of had enough and after having lunch we would move out. But worse was waiting there. There were a group of around 10 guys: some of them were staring at our ladies.
This is how it started.
When the guy who observed i'm looking at him while he was staring a heated argument with me. Anyway that got stopped.They were talking in Kannada mostly, so I could not understand, but guessing they were still not doing good.
One of my friend understands Kannada, so after food while we were about to leave he asked, why were you talking bad words? He tried to hit my friend, I was pissed of by then. Gave some punches to his face and now a brawl started. From our side 2 guys and there side 3 guys. It was kind of nasty brawl for 5-10 minutes and i'm pretty sure we learnt them a lesson by making there face a boxing punch bag. Though I had some mild cuts on my hand and back still i'm happy I stood for my family and dared to teach those guys a lesson.
Any way now we talked to manager, what the security he provides to the family, he said he was scared. I said not you, how your management handle these scenarios. He did not have any answer, but saying sir you guys also hit them badly.
I was like WHAT?
Anyway it was not at all a pleasant experience and here is my verdict.
Since it was a cheaper one , you can find some of mean street guys over there and i'm sure had choose some decent resort we would not have faced this situation.So Tulip, no way I'm going to recommend it to any one.
