hey guys, I always use to wonder why not there are any juice products in India. We always had a big potential market for juices. Juice bars on the corners are common in India. When ever I visited one, i was worried about hygiene and at some places instead of juice I was served a cocktail of sugar, salt and water. Even then, I use to try and find out some place which is trustable to fulfill my thrust by refreshing taste of juice. There was fruity, the famous fruity, which was never a choice for me, all those stabilizers and preservative have distorted the taste, then came tetra park with the juices marketed in India from International Tropicana, basically a Florida based company, and I was happy. May be first to notice it in the market in my friend circle and I introduced it to all my friends, we all become juice junkees. It was a relief from the fear of ethylene glycol and phosphoric acid (these are common ingredients in soft drinks and are considered slow poisons). The juices from tropicana are great in taste. they are pasteurized and filtered and I love them The juices in India are definitely different from that in USA. Orange juice in India has a good sweet taste, but in America it is bitter in taste (its because of the kind of Oranges grown in India and America), but I have now become accustomed to this bitter taste also. i love the orange juice with lots of pulp (not sure its available in India or not). It has good amount of fibres also. Good source of Vit. C, which is good in increasing your healing powers and make your white blood cells more active.
In India, I use to take mango juice, but I do miss it in America. I tried to find alternates, but may be its the quality of Mango, its never to my taste in america.
Good nutrition, no preservative, no fat, good source of minerals and vitamins. What could be better? Good going Tropicana. But there are still so many fruits which need to be introduced. I will be waiting for more divergent tastes.
