I would like to narrate my bad experience with the Trident Hyundai service center located at Domlur, Inner Ring road, Bangalore.


2 Days back(on 03rd July 2014)I went to the said service center to get my car(Santro) serviced. They enumerated a long list of repair work and I agreed for the same except a few parts replacement.The total bill amounted to be Rs. 18, 214 /-The next day I made the payment and was driving back home, when I realized on the way that the car was giving abnormal jerks when I tried to accelerate from slow speed.There was no engine work done apart from DE-carbonatization and spark plugs changed. After that there was a serious misfire in the engine while taking pick-up especially in higher gears.


The very next day early morning I took the vehicle and showed them the problem. They tried to convince me by saying that the clutch plate is gone wrong and whole clutch assembly needs to be replaced to rectify the issue.I however did not agree because this was certainly not a clutch problem which they later agreed upon.They tried to fix the problem by cleaning the spark plug, tuning the engine and various other things but no improvement could be done.


By that time it was lunch time and the service advisor asked me to leave for the day as it was supposed to take a lot more time to rectify it.I left immediately and again by evening I got a call from the advisor that my car was ready and asked me to collect it.To my surprise when I took the test drive this time, I was really very embarrassed to see my vehicle in the a worse condition.


The pick up was almost zero, even on 1st and 2 gear I could hardly drag the vehicle, maybe to reduce the jerking problem they might have done some weird adjustment.Moreover the gear lever was so hard this time that it required a great amount of pressure to move it on. Upon asking they replied that the "Gear Bed" had gone wrong and they had replaced it even without asking or informing me whereas everything was working fine before giving it for servicing.


I was really distressed this time and had a very hot discussion with the Manager of the Service Center who was so rude and harsh in his statements and way of talking.Finally they told me that they can rectify this but I need to pay additional amount for this.I simply refused them to pay a single penny and left the place after they told me that they will see to it and let me know.Will update this review once I get my vehicle after 2 days as per their schedule.
