I had placed an order on 15Apr2014 for i10 Grand 1.2bs4 Golden orange color at trident Hyundai Airport road through sales rep Mr. Prasoon. Booking order number is cust id: c2014040573. A week after that I changed it to diesel. I was promised the delivery time as 2 weeks from the date of booking. However till date., I am not given delivery dates till date. The last update that I had received was that Trident has to place an order with Hyundai as their inventory stocks are exhausted and needs to get the car delivered which would take 2 - 3 weeks time. I expressed my concern and told the sales rep that this condition was not acceptable and would proceed to cancel the order as 2-3 weeks delivery times was not acceptable. The sales rep told me that he had no option to provide an early delivery.& also that there is a price hike that I need to pay if I wish to buy. Incase I wish to cancel. Trident Hyundai would forfeit the entire booking amount paid.
I am now in a fix as Hyundai has.
1. Not promised me a delivery date till now.
2. I will be losing my booking amount as I have no option to cancel. I need to abide with your terms & conditions.
3. Lost peace of mind with the entire booking process that is suppose to be hassle free.
I have a feeling that this is clear day light robbery and I should not be a victim of Tridents inventory issues. I feel that the entire booking system with Hyundai is messy and request Hyundai to resolve my issue asap.
