Viruses are becoming more common on the the net than in the Human Body and incidents like Chernobill spread a real dread.

Though many of the viruses destroy only data and softwares there are some which have a Hardware affinity too.
I have seen a lot of viruses like the Chernobill and heard about many others like the Blast (A thing which slowly destroys the monitors picture tube) from my friends in hardware.

I have a PC since 8 years and am exposed to a lot of antivirus programmes during the years. I have enjoyed the trial versions of many especially Symantec, E-safe, Macaffe, etc and was troubled by worms and trojans and what not even after off and some times many of the antivirus programs were not able to clean the infected files though they quarantined them(I used to have an updated virus pattern file).

My relation with Trend Micro began around 3 years back when I bought my first ASUS motherboard after the Chernobill tragedy with my pc and a blast of my motherboard bias. Asus Motherboards had strictly mentioned to use PC-cillin and if not followed no guarantee of the Bias would be given ( I dont know how they would come to know wether some one uses PC-cillin).

I have even seen the boot up virus detection software of many Motherboards is a Trend product too.

Anyway I was overwhelmed by the effeciency, quick updates, user friendly interface and many other features.

Since then I have been using the program and not a single virus has troubled me. yes I do an update regularly but im confident now about the immunity rise in my pc

So whats the Moral
