This was the first review I ever wanted to write on Mouthshut. I restrained myself because I wanted to be able to complete the review and wasnt sure if my thought process would hold. What I write, is based on a personal experience which is something I wont ever forget.

Paralysis. how do I know about it? It took away the man who created me. Two long years he suffered silently. The only things that expressed anything on his frail body. were his eyes. And that too was nothing but two black holes devoid of expression except the odd tear that streamed down them.

Yes, Paralysis claimed my father. Paralysis that was the result of a stroke he had. The stroke was caused by family disputes over property.

My father was the oldest of eight siblings. He was one of those non-interfering human beings who never wished anyone harm. He never took what wasnt his. He had to go through a lifetime of struggle to reach somewhere and he did. He became a manager in an international bank!

They fought over land! They ganged up on him and took away what was rightfully his. And that took its toll on him. Not the fact that some piece of land was gone. The sheer fact that it was his own flesh and blood that did it.(now you know why I always quote that Blood isnt always thicker than water)

He had a stroke. I saw the xray of his brain. Several incisions. Several clots. He had lost control over almost every part of his body. For two years, we tried everything. But he. had lost the will to live. He moved on to another world!

The paralysis wasnt the killer. It were the circumstances that lead to his death. When the mind dies the body dies too. You can heal and recover from anything, provided your mind and your spirit. they have the will to live and fight and survive. My dad lost that.

I write this with one goal and that is to open your eyes to the melancholic world of paralysis and if there is even a sentence in this review that helps you. the review has achieved more than it set out to.

The dictionary meaning of Paralysis is LOSS OF MOVEMENT OF A BODY PART. It can hit anyone at any time. It can be caused by trauma or by some physical illness. What happened to my father was trauma. A fatal stroke.

How do you handle something like this? If someone you love has been hit by it, the best thing you can do is to maintain a calm environment at all times. Motivational talks from loved ones help. A steady flow of beautiful soothing music might help. Regular Physiotherapy might help. Nature Therapy will help. Most of all.

LOVE AND PRAYERS HELP!

And now. I'll leave paralysis talk because I am no expert on the subject. It came into my existence like a tornado and took something precious from me. Life has to go on.

For all of you who read this, I have one thing to say. Too much expectation in anything or anyone is what causes heartbreak. And heartbreak is one of the causes of serious mental trauma which can destroy your life.

I shed no tear when he died. Because in a way it was a release. Sounds cold doesnt it? Not if you saw a human being in that state.

Control your emotions before they control and destroy you and most of all. spread cheer around you. It helps you feel good inside that you made someone feel good. Motivate those who are ill, a happy mind can heal the body.

I dont know if this review was helpful or not but it sure helped me flush something out. Thanks for reading.

Peace

PS: Where chemicals and doctors fail. Ayurveda works. So give it a shot if someone you love is suffering from this dreaded ailment.
