Paralysis is very dangerously disease and not fully curable. It is caused due to sudden stroke, head injury, spinal injury and brain hemorrhage which damage the nervous system in which the patient has no control over the effected part of the body. There will be numbness, sensory loss and muscles looses the power of strengt or we can say loss of muscular functions. It may be partially on a single part like Bell, s palsy, cerebral palsy or paralysis of complete body. If it is half part of the body right or lelt side is effected is called Hemilpegia and if full body is effected than it is known as Paraplegia. Patient conditions depends upon the severity of the attack of paralysis. In complete loss, a patient may not able to make movement of any parts like lag, hands, fingers, lifting of lower and upper parts. He will be totally bed patient and not able to do any physical activities by his own. Minor degree or partially effected person can carry out some activities for his routine requirements.

Now we will go for its management and treatment. Its treatment part is very long or sometimes whole life the patient will be on active treatment and under nursing care. In allopathy there are injections, iv drip and oral drugs are prescribed. Initially the patient can be admitted to the hospital and thereafter can be managed at home. Treatment also is available in Ayurveda like ashwaganda, millet, rye and other supportive medicines where patient will get improvement with this herbal jadi buties. But the most important and main part of this illness is the regular physiotherapy and physical activities. The physiotherapy exercise to be given regularly by the expert physiotherapist to the effected part of the body. If the patient is bed ridden than he should be thoroughly looked after by the nurse or his own family member constantly. Daily change over their beddings and personal clothing and keep them clean. Lying in one position for long time may develop pressure sores or bedsores so patient position to be changed frequently from right to left and left to right. Do daily massage to their back portion and apply telecom powder which will help to avoid bedsores.Timely feed them soft and warm liquid and medication as per doctors proscriptions. Always help for movement of their body parts and keep talking with then. Partially paralyzed patient should keep their physical activities continue with regular exercise, yoga, physiotherapy and use wheelchair for easy movements. So the paralysis patient must take all the above care properly and can pull on the normal life.
