horrible customer service!

Booked 2 tickets through their site and had to make an itinerary chage 2 weeks later.  I had not yet departed on my trip so I called to make the change.  Travelocity changed me to an illegal
connection - airlines rejected the change because it was only 50 minutes.  Travelocity called me that night to change it, but I had to call them back. 45 minutes ON HOLD!, then 15 minutes to change the flight.  The Travelocity agent claimed he was on the phone with Lufthansa to verify the change to a later connecting flight with a 5 hour layover.

3:am the next morning, I get an e-mail from Travelocity there is still a problem, even though it’s a 5 hour layover now. 1 HOUR and counting ON HOLD, while the re-issues desk ’investigates; the problem,

I used my United Awards for 3 tickets on this same itinerary  - same flights, same airlines, same travel times - and they were able to make my changes in 5 minutes. I told Travelocity I needed my tickets with them to follow the United itinerary so the family could travel together and they are unable to do so.

They finally gave a different flight - different departure and arrival time, than my United purhcased Lufthansa flights . I asked if these were all Lufthansa or were they code-share flights. He assured me these are all Lufthansa flights. He hangs up, and then the flight info on the screen changes - and they show as Lufthansa code-share flights!  Now, if I want the family to stay together, call United and pay to have the tickets changed. Again.

This is my first and last time using Travelocity - should rename them to "Atrocity"!

UPDATE:  I called United to see if they have a problem with this connection. The lady from United - Sue - was EXCELLENT - she called Lufthansa for me and tied us together for a 3 way call - and it wasn’t even a problem with the United tickets! She tried to get Lufthansa to change to the routing I wanted, but I understand since I didn’t buy directly from Lufthansa, they could not do that.  Lufthansa confirmed that the routing I wanted was NOT a problem, was even confirmed and Travelocity cancelled it!  Called back to Travelocity - asked for supervisor, another 1 HOUR on hold. They are trying to get my requested itinerary back. After 2 hours and 2 conference calls with Lufthansa/Travelocity, it was determined that Travelocity has chosen not to resell this ticket combination that I want, even though it’s valid.
