I recently purchased a new Innova after doing a lot of research. I read most of the reviews on mouthshut. I will not go through the technicalities because enough people have already described it. I brought the diesel top end model. Before taking test run I was a bit apprehensive about the driving comfort because I had driven big SUV’S like Sumo before. But once I took the test drive I felt like I was driving another car. The turning radius is quite small. Also while driving in the city you can drive quite comfortably. The thing I liked most was the driver seat. It kind of gives you good support at the lower back. Also the suspension is good. I brought the 2008 model because I got a very good discount for that. But Still I think the 2009 model has some better features. The knobs for the AC/blower etc are replaced by an electronic panel which is better. Also the automatic temperature control should be handy. In 2009 Top End model they have added some features in the display by which you get all the driving data at the press of button like the fuel conumption, etc. I have never had the oppurtrunity to sit back because I always drive, but my parents who sit in the back say that it is a very smooth ride. I only feel that the driver seat shoudl be able to come up a few inches still because I need to sit straight to see the road in front. Also I fail to understand why they did not provide a small light in the engine compartment? The dealer told me that I will have to get it fitted at extra cost. Which I will surely do.

The best thing I like about is the looks and with my favourite black colour I just feel like I am on top of world when driving this car. I still have not driven this car for long duration but from what I have heard I guess the experience is not tiring but enjoyable more on a long drive. Dont think too much friends , just Go for it.
