Hi fellas,
                 I got the keys for my new Innova 2.5L Diesel only 3 days ago. So I am still in my honeymoon period( if I may say so..) and I was eager to share my first impression of this innocent loking beast with you all!!
                 First things first..... Great looks (one of the reasons why I fell for her!!) both from outside and inside. Quite a robust and commanding presence on the road.... trust me, she demands respect on the road and gets it too!! Ground clearance is pretty good. Because of the height of Innova, I feel paranoid while reversing coz I really cannot see even if there is a kid or a short person behind the vehicle. So be careful folks...Front and side views are more than adequate.
                 Very spacious interiors which is a bonus for any familyman!!  The middle and back rows are completely foldable to make space for luggage if needed. Even the front seats go flat to help grab a quick siesta or just pull over and dream!! Instrument panel is a pretty sight and stylish. Air-conditioning is brilliant. Since I live in Chennai, never got a chance to check the heating system! Leg room is more than adequate for an average height person.
                 Pick-up is good( considering its a diesl engine) and gear box handling is smooth as silk. In very crowded roads or slow traffic she does an excellent job in 2nd gear. The suspension is amazing.... so much so that I feel like I am on 40kmph on the highway while I am actually well over 70kmph. So keep an eye on the speedometer or you may get carried away!!! Gives 12kmpl on highways and 10 in city roads.
                  As far as my dealer goes, well the delivery took longer than anticipated so I wasn’t too impressed. Hope they will make up for it when she is due for her first service. I am afraid at this stage there is nothing more for me to add but I will keep updating my experiences as time passes.
                  In summary, I am one happy customer right now and would strongly recommend to people with family size of 5-8.
