It’s already 18 months buying the Innova G4, covered around 10,000 kms.  Onlyu started using after we covered 5000 kms till then it was driven by our driver.The interiors are highly good. Driving in city as well as outdoors is very convenient. The only problem i am facing is that after 7000 kms, suddenly I observed some burning smell coming from the front, while parking inside our garage, for which i have to make some front and reverse. Then went to dealer, he checked all the parts including brakes, said everything is O.K. But after sometime when using half cluctch in second gear (speed of around 10-20)in traffic of bangalore again observed the smell, changed to first gear, no smell. I thought that it might by too much usage of clutch in city causing the smell.

Can anyone who are experts of driving can give me some guidance whether to use or not use half clutch in 2nd gear while moving in traffic
