Firstly, I dont own an Toyota Innova, but that doest mean that I cant review about this vehicle here. I am reviews about this vehicle because I have experience Innova before. Well I never drove the Innova till now but have traveled a couple of time in this Car.
Alright so firstly, Toyota innova is a not a SUV which many other mention, its Chassis basically classifies the Car as MUV(Multi utility Vehicle). But many people call is SUV because it almost gives the same Space as that of the other SUVs like Fortuner or Safari.
I have mostly preferred to ride on innova for the long rides and not the shot once.
So here goes my good and bad experiences with Innova -
Goods -
1) this MUV is very Spacious and can accommodate about 8 people in whole. the latest version of Innova can accommodate about 7 people and 6 comfortably.(see Cons)
2) The Vehicle is powerful when compared with the other MUVs in the segment. The looks are also heavy and powerful.
3) the Comfortably of the car is really good. I traveled about 600kms continuous on this MUV with just one stop in between and never felt and discomfort like Pain(See cons too).
4) the MUV comes which most of the latest features like AC with twin control(Front and rear), latest Music system and so on.
5) The Fuel consuption is also nominal when compared to SUVs which gives the same comfort. The Suitable for longs drives and is Economical.
6) the MUV design is also very good and very elegant. Actually we wer the planning to buy Innova first, but the dropped out to go on with the Sedan. Looks Really Majestic.
Cons -
1) Thou the Innova is Spacious, the latest Version can not accommodate more than 7 members because the 2nd row seat is the twin separate seat and not a single long seat which can accommodate 3 people.
2) the Rear last row seating is not that comfortable. Little small. Its good and safe kids but not for grown up people. The last row is good for 3 Kids, but no even that good for 2 elders.
Also I felt really discomfort sitting at the last row, i always felt vomiting sensation, Giddiness and dizzy when ever I sit at the last row.
3) The Car is powerful but not suitable for the Rainy muddy roads. The drives told me that, due to the heaviness of the MUV, low ground clearance and front wheel drive, the MUV sometimes get stuck in the mud roads. This was the SUVs overcome Innova.
4) the trunk space is little less when compared to the Sedan. Not enough for luggage of 7 or 8 members.
Overall, Toyota is truly a MUV not just becoz of space and feature but because the MUV can be used as a personal Car as well as Travels or Government vehicle!
