A SHOCKING EXPERIENCE WITH TOYOTA CUSTOMER RELATIONS DIVISION
I had bought my Toyota Corolla (H5) on 31st July 2003 from South Delhi, the dealership has now closed down. I had relocated from Delhi to Pune and needed the ex-showroom value of the car when I bought it as this was required for registration at Pune. I requested a copy of the invoice or an email confirmation of the price /value on 31st July 2003 via email on voc@toyota-kirloskar.co.in
The CRD responded promptly by sending a reply asking for details like Vehicle Number , Vehicle Reg in the Name & Engine No. / Chassis No. to which, I responded very promptly expecting a fast response as earlier. But to my surprise, I never received any communication from Toyota, in spite of several reminders sent on Nov 28, 2012 , Nov 30 2012 & then on Dec 10, 2012.
Still keeping false hopes, I had another mail correspondence on Tue, Dec 18, 2012 as “Can I pls request help for this, I am struggling on this front and will have to pay additional tax at no benefit to Toyota. I am getting an impression that buying a Toyota product has been a mistake.” Which as expected proved to be futile, no response from Toyota CRD. As a consequence, I had to pay an additional amount and get my car registered at Pune at an additional cost.
I am extremely disappointed by the so called world class processes followed by Toyota, I am sharing this terrible experience I had with the Toyota CRD on the social networking site, so that any potential user/buyer of the product can understand what type of company they would be dealing with. This gives a clear picture of the lack of service provided by Toyota.
