I visited with my wife to kerala from 21st nov 2015 to 27th nov 2015. The tour operator was paradise holidays. First the good points: the accomodation in resorts was great, houseboat in alleppey was good too.
Kerala being a beautiful state, we enjoyed the beauty. But we had a bad taste in mouth, all due to the driver "jithin" provided by paradise.
It is unfortunate but the mr ratheesh and his team has little control over the driver and when one gets to spend most of the time with the driver on tour.it is a crucial aspect. The driver refused to come before 9am everyday and fought with us to free him by 5pm everyday. This was the reason we missed many spots on itinery in munnar.
Even after complaining to the MD the stubborn guy's behavior didnt change a bit. Rather he threaten to desert us midway in Thekkady. The driver was changed for the last 3 days of the tour. But then we found that every driver was doing a 9-5 job.whereas this was never mentioned in the itenery nor was communicated to us when we complained.
Also I would suggest paradise team to prepare the itenery keeping in mind the distance of the resorts from the visiting spots. For example the kalathil resort is too far from alleppey beach and to visit the beach from that resort.then driving back to cochin for other sight seeing isnt feasible .speacially when one has to free the driver before 5:30pm. Please look into the issues because these minor things tarnish the images. Otherwise the stay was comfortable and paradise guys to try to help the guests by whatever way possible.
