Toto’s Garage Pub at Bandra is like a Landmark in itself. Right at Pali Naka, its an small unassuming place from outside situated in a small lane, but once you are inside its a great place to be in!.. Its rather a small place, but then its cozy! You are welcome by a smiling doorkeeper who graciously opens the door for you and lets you in..
 
The ambience- like an old garage, gives a very ’’male’’ aura to the whole place and you will see many young office goers, professionals, stopping by to have a drink with friends or work colleagues on their way back home from work on weekdays!..

On weekends, also spotted are the typical party animals- those who are not into dancing in a disc, but would rather sit with a bunch of friends and have a couple of beers and just party!.. There is a small TV perched high up in a corner, but frankly, very few people are actually interested in watching tv here.. unless its a mega sports or entertainment event!

I have even seen some girls/ ladies being absolutely comfortable in this kind of a ambience and have seen a bunch of girls having fun and probably a ’’girls-night out’’ at this kind of a place!...Its a place with a very mixed crowd- young and matured, trendy- and very laid back!.. all together!..

A very relaxed atmosphere with very friendly staff!..They are always smiling and talking and make you very comfortable. The manager and the owner are always there, mingling amongst the crowd and seeing to it that their patrons are comfortable!...

The music is also great and plays usually the popular numbers, (no hindi music!), classics and pop, metal, trance, mixed, however, requests are not generally entertained!. The food- (only snacks- no dinner served) is just ok, and if you know what to order, its great!. Drinks and food is reasonable priced and will not hurt your wallet- even on a sat nite!.. Its probably the only place in bandra with no cover charge or an entry fee-- even on a weekend- and its very popular with young crowd. There are so many regulars- like me- who over the period of time have become so called- ’’pub-friends’’and toto’s is become kind of a regular place to catch up on things..with friends..and just chill out and take a break from the maddening fast pace of life in Bombay!..

The airconditioning is also good and does not leave you sweating even if its crowded. There is no dance floor- and frankly- its not necessary in this kind of a place- infact a dance floor might just take away the ambience of the place and might be such a odd thing to have in a ’’garage-pub’’...The current place truly gives you the right ambience of a pub!..

The only drawback of this place is that its relatively small and at times it can get so crowded that it becomes too noisy and full of cigratte smoke, that your eyes tend to start burning due to the smoke and your clothes would start stinking of cigratte smoke after you come out!..Its such a put off for guys like me who are non-smokers and who per force have to become a passive smoker!... Also, since being small, at times if you reach late on a weekends, (after 9.30-10.00 pm) you might not even get a decent place to stand up at the bar.. forget getting a table to yourself! But all said and done, this place is a great place!..

I would strongly recommend this place to someone who is looking for a nice place to just chill out with a bunch of friends or even alone!.. Cause i am sure you will bump into some friendly people there and have over all a relaxing fun experience... So what are you guys waiting for.. just go out to toto’s and chill out and have fun!
