Friends, I think that we are all known about the movie ?Titanic?. So today I?m not going to tell u about its story. Here I?m going to tell u sum few points about the history that what actually happened
with real titanic made in the year 1912.

?THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MOST TRAGIC EVENTS IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.?

1.The Titanic was constructed by the White Star Line in shipyards at Belfast, Northern Ireland; completed on March 31, 1912. Was publicized widely as being ?unsinkable?. It had 16 watertight compartments. Could stay afloat with four waterlight blocked/ closed.

2.The ship cost 7.5 million dollars to construct.

3.Titanic had two ?sisters?- Britannic and Olympic.

4.Titanic?s maiden voyage began on April 7, 1912-final destination New York.

5.The cost of a ticket in first class was 4,350 dollars (50,000 dollars by today?s standards).

6.Total number of boards: 2201 people; 1,316 passengers; 885 crew members.

7.On April 14, 1912, it struck a huge iceberg at 11:40pm. The iceberg ripped open six of the waterlight compartments. It sank on April 15, 1912, breaking in half as she went down. (The average person would die in less than 30 minutes in water that cold). Around 1500 passengers and crew members drowned. Of the 951 male passengers, 805 died. Total people saves were 700, mostly women and children, by the steamer Carpathia, which was 58 miles away when it received distress signals.

8.Research has shown that the ship may have sunk because of structural damage in some of the ship?s most basic part: the rivets. It was also discovered that the iron used to construct Titanic was structurally weak/cheap.

Something about movie:

Ya it?s among my favorite movies. I saw it about 20 times and still can watch it about 100 times more. The performance by all was excellent. (Especially Kate winslet and Leonardo dicaprio). Background music was superb. I like to listen ?MY HEART WILL GO ON? sung by Celion Dion. Her voice is too soft she sung the song so calmly. Above all the picturisation of the movie was marvelous. James Cameroon had done the great job by making such a meaningful and heart-touching movie.
