Pros:
Great Sets
Cons:
too much romance

I, perhaps, am taking my ideological beliefs too far but when it comes to think i am passionate about i really find it difficult to watch them simply commercialised. In this case i am talking about the
Titanic. I have to say that yes artists must be free to use the settings they choose and view with their imagination. I will never ever suggest that right being taken from them. However in this review i just wish to put forth what i felt when i saw the movie.

I went to watch the movie fro one reason and that reason alone; the Titanic has been a ship i have read about , followed news about and researched about for ages. The way the movie was hyped did not, till after the movie was released, reflect the fact that it would probably be just a love story. The promos, the snippets everything pointed to a recreation of the scenarios on the ship. And i have to say the sets used were brilliant. However the focus of the movie swiftly moved from the ship, which had been projected as the central attraction to the romance between leo and kate.Perhaps that is what sells, the romance, but people if you ever have the opportunity to read about the ship itself you will be surprised by the amount of romance the ship has alone. The finest ship in England, billed ’’The Unsinkable’’ carrying forth a bellyful of passengers from the richest societies and families in the country. I usually enjoy good romances as much as any good action movie but for once i was left wondering how good the movie could have really been if it hadn’t been for the duo on the screen. Yeah i know, im cynical and this perhaps isn’t a very good review from the subject matter in mind but sometimes, our emotions do come first.

As far as the movie goes, it’s a pretty decent one time watch. the duo of Leo and Kate have done a good job and the writer has made a good effort to add further romances to the legend of the Titanic. There still is great debate in the world as regards what exactly went down with thatr ship, and for the sake of romance perhaps it would be better if they never really did find out.
