Read the many reviews on Godrej Hicare. So I thought I will let u all know about my experience with PCI. Pest Control India known shortly as PCI is supposedly the oldest company in this field. We 

have been engaging their pest control services (for cockroaches and ants) for the past 2 years and are very satisfied. In fact, while we were about to choose a pest control provider two years ago we were shortlisted Godrej Hicare and PCI. But I didn’t immediately get the number of Godrej Hicare and PCI had place a small ad in Times the same day. Also, our neighbour told me that they were satisfied with PCIs services. So we chose this company wondering if the other would be better than this. But now after reading all this I feel we have made a good choice.

PCI has many branches in every major city. The moment you approach them you are given the closest branch based on your location and names of two or three contact persons there. They don’t operate on fundas like call centre. They take down your address, take down all the details you need and staightaway tell the first pest control date and time. I have never had a problem of cockroaches after they started their service. In fact, they just inject a gel which comes out as a very thin stream and is applied in droplets without disturbing any set up at home.  They use sprays only in the drains. Once my servant washed of the gel thinking they are dirt. So we started seeing cockroaches within a month of their treatment. Not knowing this, I informed them to do the pest control again. They came within a couple of days, did it and politely told me that the gels they had applied had been removed by washing and that was the reason for the problem. At the time of first application itself, they had told me this, but it was I who forgot to tell my servant who cleaned the kitchen. In spite of that, they pretty nice and just gave me the same information again politely. And they are pretty prompt in keeping up with appointments too.

Only problem with them is, when your Annual contract expires, they don’t give reminders for renewal. It is we who have to remind them to renew and start services again.
