Pros:
Eggs, Music, Fun
Cons:
Can only have it on Holidays

Ingredients:

Eggs - the number depends on how much fond you are of them. I tried it with four but u can stick to three if u want to play safe. Andas apna apna.

Carrots - Two moderately big sized. Must be fresh and juicy.

Beans - Well around 100 gms will do.....but should be fresh and soft.

Onion - One medium sized would do.

Mayonnaise - Two table spoon.

White Oil, Salt and pepper.

A cassette of Kaho na Pyaar hai.

Some willing guinea pigs who are eager to please your culinary ego.

Ok....here we go now. Wash the vegetables thoroughly. Peel off the carrot’s outer skins and cut it at an angle so that when you cut the carrot slices into strips they will be longer. The beans also needed to be cut at an acute angle. The goal here is to create strips of carrot and beans of equal length and in equal proportion. In fact their color match each other perfectly. Anyway put some water in a container and
boil the strips for a while. Since they are cut into thin strips it wont take much long...take care to ensure that they dont get over boiled. While the thing is getting boiled u can switch on the music and cut the onion with the beat of ’’ Pyaar ki kasti mein’’....:-)

Anyway drain the water from the boiled vegetables and keep it aside.....oops I forgot to write that the eggs also need to be boiled. Cut the boiled eggs into four longitudinal pieces.....ok now for the final flourish and voila u got ur dish ready. Heat the oil in the kadai and put the onions inside...fry it till they are slightly brown add the egg pieces and fry it with the onions...as they say fri ur mind and the rest will follow......lol. Anyway put the vegetables soon after and cook the whole thing for five mins max. ...aye mere dil tu khaye jaaaaaaa...di ding di ding ding....just when u are swaying with the infectious beat add the salt, pepper and mayonnaise. Switch off the gas after say two minutes and transfer the thing into a serving bowl.

Now get ur guinea pigs organised, ask them to sit in a line and serve them the food with hot butter toast. Ideally u should do this thing on a Sunday. Btw warn the guinea pigs that they better be fullsome in their praises or else u might adapt a carrot and stick policy.....:-).

ps: name of the dish - The Eggcarrot Bin. Bon appetite.
