Books are not only printed pages having beautiful fragrances but they are store house of knowledge. Sir Francis Bacon is a man who is known best for his essays. he has written about books that" some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention". it is true that not all the books catch our attention but if we read them they are going to change or modify our behavior. if some body keeps himself busy in reading books his friends might give him an epithet "bookworm" but these bookworms are better then other people as they experience life better then anybody else. there are travel books and by reading them we can know the geography of a particular area without travelling. it is not possible for everybody to travel in each and every part of the world but we can know and see all the beautiful creations of the god by the eyes of the author. reading books impart us a kind of education which makes us more humane. thus reading books are beneficial for everybody.
