Writing blogs can not be compared to writing a book, however, it is a platform for expression of your talent but to become a published writer one has to have patience, luck and some money.
And the most important once there is a will there is away. Keep sending samples to publishers and don't disappoint upon receiving rejection notes. Persevarence pays, when it depends on your good time.
