Preethi induction cooktop - not worth it
May 26, 2016 05:10 PM 27349 Views

We were gifted a preethi induction cooktop a few years back. We were afraid to use it because of the fear that the electricity bills would go up. The bill did vary but it is useful for boiling water. The problem is that milk boils too fast and it spills over.

Preethi does not have the option of self stop and I think other models are better off because this model does not have timer. Also, this cooktop has burnt twice and it cost above 600/- to replace the board. Any slight voltage fluctuation affects and the cooktop is affected.

I would not suggest this brand and anyways Preethi has been taken over by Philips. so, think twice before buying such products.
